Review Title Goes Here
Before I watch each of these, I think back to how long ago they were made, and how bad most of the stuff back then was (considering that I was a huge fan of Bonus Stage when this show came out, one could say that I didn't know what 'good' was back then; arguments over whether or not BS was good or not are for another time), so I wonder, "Why watch this?" But I've watched these all before years ago, and decide to go back into them, knowing they're not fantastic, but as sort of a support thing. However, during each episode, I usually experience moments of "Hey, this is getting better with each episode" several times, and that's a fine thing (heh).
The fact that you were comfortable with having someone else write an entire episode of your creation is great, but they really got the feel of the show perfectly. This cartoon wasn't the best thing in the world, and you knew it, but you had someone else come in and explain just what was wrong with it. It got you some laughs, sure, but it was probably sort of an eye-opener for you, too; you knew the show had problems, but getting a creative form critique from an outside source is an interesting way to not only get help, but to tell people "This show isn't the best thing in the world, but it's what I like, so just know that I know that there are flaws."
It has been a long time, so I don't remember what's next for the Weasels. I just know that this series' original run is about halfway over, if my memory serves me correctly, so it'll be nice to rewatch the growth of an animator.
@Grotesque: Not totally sure what you're trying to say, man. He's putting these things up four years after he originally made them just because he never did before, and wants to get a little exposure so maybe any positive reaction will give him motivation to make more cartoons. Plus considering that Geoweasel is something he's worked on since he was a child, I'd say it's less of an obsession and more of an enthusiasm to see his creation move on and become something greater than it already is.
