It was alright. Not sure why it got frontpaged... Nothing against you or anything, it just doesn't seem like it's THE BEST THING EVAR or whatever. It's alright for what it is, but it's just not AMAZING.

Very good for your first animation. I almost docked you points until I saw that that was the case. There's always room for improvement, but you're off to a very strong start. Keep it up!

I'm confused as to why Captain Planet is Australian; everyone knows he's American, since Americans care more about the environment than anyone els-Pfffft... Sorry, I tried to keep a straight face...

Reminds me a lot of Matt Wilson or Andrew Kauervane. I like it a lot; it just seems a bit too long for an intro.

Good, but...

It didn't really feel like a Pencilmation short to me. I'm so used to these starting off with a blank sheet of paper, followed by the creation of the characters, who then have problems with their creator. That's usually the theme of these things. This one deviated from the formula enough that it just didn't feel right. The character was already created prior to the beginning of the short, and the creator had barely any influence at all in the discomfort of his creations, in that the male sort of created his own discomfort by desiring contact from this apparently super-annoying person, as opposed to the creator messing with him in silly ways; giving him a phone and computer to be annoyed by the female character wasn't really like the creator, as the male character might as well have just had those things in the first place rather than just be given them later on.

Don't get me wrong, it's still enjoyable; the animation is smooth and good and the story is easy to follow. It just doesn't feel like the other related pieces.

I lol'd at the potato, and didn't think it'd get much better than that point. Oh how wrong I was. The banana and the tofu were the best, since the tofu never changed its expression and the banana went from disgusted to happy. Good job.

Kind of weird that you'd use DBZ sound effects instead of gun sound effects, and everyone jumping around to avoid gunshots was kind of bizarre (I think someone's been watching too much anime...), but it got the point across, and it was cute, so it was pretty good for what it was.
